Our first *real* video, Firefly stuff, SoCal Shows and more

So it's been awhile since I've written. Sorry, we were just so crazy on our tour in Europe and then the 23 hour trip on a train, a bus and 3 airplanes - we've needed some readjusting. BUT there's so much good stuff going on I have to tell you 4 things:

1) Our first *real* music video is done and can be seen here.
2) Our Firefly cd release show is going to be at a screening of the Firefly movie in September
3) We have some SoCal shows, one this week and 2 next week.
4) How awesome our tour was, playing outdoor festivals, clubs, house concerts, beach resorts...

Now that I got a system - you can follow the number code.

1) Our video.
While we were in Germany we met Wolfgang. He is an amazing person and his story should be a book or a movie itself. We met him at our first show and we played a house concert in his garden.* Wolfgang had an idea for a video that has me on a ship and running across Bremen** and Tracy sitting and drinking coffee. We love the video and hope you will too. See it here.

2) Firefly CD
Ok, listen up browncoats! The California Browncoats are having a charity screening of "Serenity" along with the episode "Out of Gas" at the Irvine Woodbridge Cinema 5 on Saturday, Sept 21. This will also be the release party of our first Firefly cd.*** While we were on tour we released the 4th song in that series "Stronger than Steel" (which features the amazing violin playing of our good friend Geo Hennessey) and the video for that should be done soon and we're putting the finishing touches on the 5th song "Big Damn Hereos" right now.

4) Ok, so yeah. Europe was really amazing to us. We have enough stories to fill a book and in fact Tracy wrote pretty much that on the Songs & Whispers Tour Diary page.

See the picture above? It's showing how much fun we had on tour.***** It's from our last show in Bremen at Club Moments. Heiko is far left, he is our booking agent/guy, Julian a local drummer, Ben Riddle our tourmate, Himself, Axel Kruse a local singer/songwriter and then Tracy. We ended with "it's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll." Yeah, acoustically and yeah it still rocked. Watch it here.

So we are getting back into the swing of things here. Still coming down off the high that was this tour. We met so many amazing people and had such a great time sharing our music with them. Rumor has it that there may be a Ben Riddle/Fallen Stars release sometime in the next year and they want us to come back and play festivals next summer. So we have to work on that.

In the meantime - I want to throw this out there; We played a bunch of house concerts in Europe and had a blast doing them. If you would like a house concert, email me to discuss and we'll make it happen. They are a ton of fun and very intimate. In fact we are playing one this weekend in SoCal!

That is all I can fit in this email. I have so much more to tell.

As always - thanks for hanging out with us and see you at a gig real soon.

*The "Garden Party" as it's now been called. Wolfgang's town has almost 750 people in it. Over 250 people came out to the Garden Party to see us!
**I did my own stunts.
***You remember - songs inspired by the Firefly tv show.
****We will have our new drummer with us at the DiPiazza's show. More about that soon.
