What John is listening to:

Stone Sour
”Come What(ever) May”

One of the best rock & roll records to come out in a long time. Cory Taylor and Jimmy Root show a side to them that is rare in music today, stripped down and no frills rock & roll, produced by a master in the biz today, and not to mention one of The Fallen Stars producers playing classic piano on the record. A must have in your collection.
Side note: Shannon Larkin is playing drums on 30/30 150 track #1 CHECK IT OUT!

SWEET VICTORY !!!!

Well it's finaly here, yes the stanley cup has landed in orange county california ,And how sweet it is, I will not get into the gobal location of where the cup should reside, However i know it's going to be in anaheim california for the next year and Thats a great thing,Hats off to Ottowa but anaheim had a very strong team this year and was unstopable ((Stanley cup champs !!!)) now thats sounds good.
ok enough about hockey it time to rock, THE FALLEN STARS are playing the coach house on June 16th to open for the legend IAN HUNTER (wow) how did we get that gig you ask? THE FALLEN STARS are a very hard working band and it's a pleasure to be a part of it all .........JGV

ROCKIN WITH LORD STANLEY !

Well I'm sure by now you all know i am a big DUCKS fan and have been for a long time. Since 1992 i have been to a lot of games and watched a lot of games on the tube, Also Paul Karya use to come into my work to have his vehicle serviced and I got to know him and his sister very well, Needless to say i suport my local NHL team and yes we live in orange county not L.A. So after corprate america sold the ducks to a local orange county family it was about time to get some talent and get rid of overpaid players and staff that was hold ing the team back from being a contender. In the last five years this is our second time to the final round and this time we are going to skate the cup. Good luck  to the ottawa senators, But lord stanley's drinking glass will be hanging in So. Cal for the next year, oh and sorry to the red wing fans and team, better luck next year ((That sounds so good to say that)) ha ha . well thats all for now and stay tuned for the games, it's going to be a blast..

THE BEEZ-KNEEZ

Aloha People!

It's Monday night and I have a moment to share some thoughts,  or I shoud say catch by breath.  We (THE FALLEN STARS) have had a wild weekend,  it started on Friday night in the (L-B-C),  thats Long Beach, CA  ( for the non natives)  The stage was set for the WilIie Cash band at the west coast country show.  Willie himself was such a cool cat he made sure the Fallen Stars were well handled,  they introduced the band  and it was on,  the band was rocking in full flight,  Bobbo  Tracy & Gregg in classic form,  plus I got to play a classic or I should say,  vintage ludwig silver sparkle drum kit that sounded so good..  After we played,  Willie had some gifts for the people that showed up,  check this out,  my wife won a country grab bag: contents: 1 can of spam, 1 candle, 1 miller beer cooler cover,  1 pack of black cat fire crackers. (Willie you fuckin rock!)  needless to say a good night by all. OK,  now for Saturday it started around 12:00 pm (pst) drums packed full tank of gas and half of pack of smokes, It's time to rock,  San Fernando street fair I think that was the biggest stage  I    i have ever played on.  My guitar player needed his own zip code (Hi Gregg!)  and of course give the commander (Bobbo) some elbow room.  and just  try and keep up with him (I dare you)  Tracy was rocking and sounded superb as always, we did a little press and we were gone like the gang in Point Break,  to the next show,  that brings us  to the the Marlin Bar in Huntington Beach CA. thats (SURF CITY) my home town,  the Fallen Stars hit the stage with a special guest,  Danny Ott the legend,  he sat in all night, Bobbo told me danny was just going to play 1 or 2 songs but I don't think Danny was going to step off the stage after the first note in Outlaws & Angels,  he stayed the entire set and their was not one song he did not own,  to see my boys and Danny rocking was a real treat for me as a drummer, and to not forget Tracy ( Mrs. Byrnes)  what can i say.  Candyland is starting to sound like a classic,  with a little hint of counrty guitar sprinkled with some great vocals, WOW  it's a pleasure to play the drums on something as classic as that.  The set ended with some great 80's covers and the band (ROKKEN) was like stepping back in time.  (scary)  Well it's time to go now and thanks for all the support and love  ..... Cal State Long Beach Rocks

THE FALLEN STARS had pizza and beer (yeah!) thanks for the support and love and thanks for asking us back to play
a lunch time show for the students, we would be more than happy to return to CAL STATE LONG BEACH.
