![]() what gb's listening to... As per usual, when I get hooked on an album I play it TO DEATH. Then I don't come back to it for a while, but there you go. Let it be known that the Supersuckers' "Live at the Magic Bag, Ferndale, Michigan" is one of the greatest live albums ever. They've been at it for a long time and are indeed experts at what they do. To quote their singer & bass player, "I'm Eddie Spaghetti here to rock your asses steady!"... that's exactly what they do. Buy it and play it LOUD!

the latest... Sorry for no blogs fer a while, kids! A lot has happened in the last few months that's kept us all quite busy. First off, the album's still going along great We're pretty close to finishing the recording end of things, with finals mixes and mastering to follow. Release date? Not sure, but we'll let y'all know just as soon as we get it all dialed in. The gigs have been stellar, I can't say enough good about my fellow Fallen Stars. I'm making music with friends I love... doesn't get any better. Now, the next bit o' news is not only a huge gig for us, but a dream come true for me! June 16th at The Coach House we opened for the incredible Ian Hunter Band. Primarily known as the lead singer and rhythm guitar player for Mott the Hoople, he's also had a great solo career for the last 30 years. Got a photo with him, got to shake his hand. Nice. Very nice. But the best thing about the night was us playin' a BLAZING set for a GREAT crowd! (Thanks for a killer time, folks!) The icing on the cake? The Fallen Stars were interviewed for the August 1st issue of 944 Magazine! You can pick up yours for FREE at any Orange County Hollywood Video. Just waltz in, grab one and you're all set. Okay... it's late, Mona and I just got back from the Dodgers vs. Braves game, (Dodgers won a great ballgame) and I'm tired. That's it for now.

world's greatest rock'n'roll band Yeah, that's what I'm a part of. And damn happy to be here.
First off, a HUGE thanks to our new friend Robert Kinsler from the Orange County Register for comin' out to the Marlin Bar. He wrote some great stuff about us and our show, plugged the website, myspace and the upcoming album! The text from the article can be found here on our site. All of us in Fallen Stars Land sure appreciate it! Second, we followed the Marlin with a RIPPIN' gig at the Gypsy Lounge in Lake Forest. Thanks to Rev and the folks at the Gypsy for a great night. Rev is a great band from San Diego, nice buch of guys too. Last but DEFINITELY not least is our awesome fans! You guys are without a doubt the BEST. Thanks so much for comin' to the shows, it's always great to see (and hear) y'all! We love you guys and thank all of you for the support! And to top it all off, we'll have our new album out in a few weeks! I'm so excited to get this baby done and released, it's gonna be a SUPER-SMOKIN', ROCKIN'-ROLLIN' FALLEN STARS record! So stay tuned for more FS music and we'll see you back at The Marlin in Huntington Beach Friday, Dec. 15th!

road warriors (sort of)...3 shows in 2 days. From Long Beach to San Fernando and finishing up in Huntington Beach. West Coast Country Night then the Menudo Festival (taped for tv) then Bobbo's Birthday Bash. All great shows, focused and having a blast. Special thanks to our bud Danny Ott for jammin' with us at Bobbo's Bash. The new record is in the works, stay tuned for more Fallen Stars music!

what we do on many Sundays... On many a Sunday us Fallen Stars-types get together and play songs. On many a Sunday it sounds really good. Other days, too. But today was amazing. I know. Sounds conceited. But it's true. See you at Cal State Long Beach!

Another GREAT show! Okay, so I'm not gonna be humble or modest. We blew the roof off The Back Alley last night! No two ways about it. About the Blonde was great. Lots of friends came to see us (big thanks to all). We played and played and played. 3 hours worth, actually. Bobbo, Tracy and I turned the amps up loud. John beat the hell out of his kit. The crowd was diggin' it. A full house to be precise. And I couldn't be happier.

The Coach House Last night (7/14) we opened for The Tubes. We were firing on all eight cylinders, and burnin' nitro methane! From the moment I heard 'one, two, three, four!' and we launched into 'We Are Only Young' it felt absolutely great. I haven't been this happy musically in about 15 years. It's been that long since I've played in an originals band. Way too long, but the right thing just hadn't come my way. Well, now it has. I'm home now. Where I belong. And it feels great.

Gregg hasn't posted a blog yetSo I'll start if for him. I'll try to sound like him whenever possible.
Hey everybody, I'm Gregg. My nickname is "The Postman" I really like BBQ ribs. My guitar only looks like it's upside down - really it's backwards. Shout out to Lindsey and Mona. Sorry I don't do impressions very well. -Bobbo
